Can anyone give me a recommendation for a fast folding projection screen that will not break the bank or my back.

Have you checked out DA Lite?  They are not real cheap, but I have seen a few used ones on ebay and craigslist for less than $150 you might want to check those sources out.  I have a model C112 and its pretty darn light.
